Philip Merrill College of Journalism. This site describes my background and experience as a journalist, a student of journalism, and a teacher of young journalists. My fascination with journalism began in the first grade when I sold newspapers after school. At age 7, I was one of the youngest newsboys in the state of Florida. I worked at a local radio station during my high school years to gain broadcast experience and wrote for the school newspaper.
